Demonstration APIs using ldproxy

The APIs below are available as examples for Web APIs that can be set up with ldproxy.

• 3D Buildings in Cologne (LoD2)

  Together with a digital terrain model, 3D building models describe the natural terrain shape of the earth's surface, including all buildings and structures, in digital form and enable the representation of cities and towns in virtual worlds. Buildings can be modeled in different levels of detail (Level of Detail, LoD). In the 3D building model LoD2, the modeling of the buildings is done with standardized roof shapes such as a gable or hip roof.

  The data in this API is an extract from the statewide data (rectangle in the city of Cologne with 2 km x 3 km edge length, 10500 buildings).

  The building properties and their values are in German.

• CShapes Dataset of Historical Country Boundaries

  CShapes 2.0 maps the borders and capitals of independent states and dependent territories from 1886 to 2019. There are two versions of the dataset, which are based on the Gleditsch and Ward (1999) or the Correlates of War coding of independent states. Border changes were coded based on the Territorial Change Dataset by Tir et al (1998), the Encyclopedia of International Boundaries by Biger (1995) and the Encyclopedia of African Boundaries by Brownlie (1979).

• Daraa

  This is a test dataset used in the Open Portrayal Framework thread in the OGC Testbed-15 as well as the OGC Vector Tiles Pilot Phase 2. The data is based on OpenStreetMap data from the region of Daraa, Syria, converted to the Topographic Data Store schema of NGA.

• Earth at Night

  The Earth at night, released by NASA. For more information, see NASA Earth Observatory "Night Lights". Raster tiles on zoom levels 0 to 6 were derived from a 54000x27000 pixel GeoTIFF image using rio-mbtiles.

• OS Open Zoomstack

  OS Open Zoomstack is a comprehensive vector basemap showing coverage of Great Britain at a national level, right down to street-level detail.

• Straßennetz Landesbetrieb Straßenbau NRW

  Der Datenbestand wird vorgehalten für die öffentlichen Straßen der Straßenklassen Bundesautobahnen, Bundesstraßen, Landesstraßen und Kreisstraßen, die innerhalb des Bundeslandes Nordrhein-Westfalen liegen.

• Vineyards in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

  Have you ever wondered where the wine that you are drinking comes from? If the wine comes from the wine-growing regions Mosel, Nahe, Rheinhessen, Pfalz, Ahr, or Mittelrhein you can find this information in this API.
  
  The dataset shared by this API is the vineyard register (Weinbergsrolle) of Rhineland-Palatinate, available under an open-data license. It is managed by the Chamber of Agriculture of Rhineland-Palatinate (Landwirtschaftskammer RLP).
